När Donald Trump avslöjade i maj att Huawei inte längre skulle få tillgång till Google Play Services var det många som blev chockade, inklusive mig. Nu har det inkommit uppgifter om att Huawei vill få tillgång till Google Play Services igen, något som skulle innebära att man skulle få tillgång till Google Play Store på sin Huawei om så skulle bli fallet.
Det ser ut som att Huaweis Richard Yu sagt följande gällande situationen i ett meddelande:
“So, at Huawei, we still hope that we can continue to cooperate with Google. Hopefully, we can get a license from the US government. We are open. In the interests of the value of those US companies, they should… I hope they can give us the license.”
Som det ser ut just nu kör Huawei med sina egna appar och program man bland annat kör med AppGallery istället för Play Store men man hoppas alltså på att USA kommer ändra sig i framtiden så att Huawei kan få tillgång till appar så som Google Play och Gmail för att nämna två exempel.
